Baby doesn't cry when I leave

Anybody else in the same boat? I'm a SAHM and spend practically all of my time with my little one. She is a very happy, confident and social little girl, but really isn't bothered if I leave her. From a young age if I've popped to the loo I've always spoke/sang to her. I've never left her to cry it out. Everybody says to be happy she doesn't get upset when I leave her, but I can't help but think she hasn't developed that attachment with me. She comes to me for cuddles a lot, so I know there's love there. She'll be one in two months, so wondering if she's just not got to the separation anxiety stage or if she won't experience it at all. I think it's bothering me more because I previously worked with children in day care and have had several children cry for me when I've left the room 😩

My little boy doesn't get upset if I leave the room or if I leave him with his nanny and grandad. I have also never let him cry it out. Whenever he's needed me I'm there. I like to think that's why he doesn't get upset. Because he knows I'm always there for him x

@Megan thank you. I feel this way too.

Sounds like she has built up a very secure attachment which is what you want! My baby is the same

My girl doesn't cry when I leave either and I pretty much don't exist when nanny is there. I did a kit day yesterday and when I dropped her off she went straight to my mum and pushed me away when I was kissing her, practically got kicked out the door with her happily waving me off. It'd sad but good at the same time. I've never let her cry it out either

Sounds like she has a very secure attachment to you; she doesn’t cry because she knows you’ll always come back ❤️
