Just a bit of fun...

What's the first thing you want to do when you're home with your new baby.... My current fantasy is getting home, getting my little boy settled in, eat a gigantic pizza and chocolate birthday cake (I got diagnosed with GD on my birthday so it was a pretty sucky day) and then taking a nap while laying on my front 😂 Might be losing it and might not happen but it's fun to think about

Honestly to just be able to sleep properly and be able to bend down/play with my toddler without feeling like I'm gonna just die😂😂

I'm really looking forward to lying on my back

Order a steak & sushi boat whilst I paint my toenails after having had a shower where I can finally shave my body & sleeping on my back!

I. Will. Eat. EGGS ROYALE. For breakfast. For at least a week!!!! 😂

I’m not a drinker but I’ve been craving a strawberry cider this whole pregnancy, also sleeping on my belly and being able to do things with my first born 🥲

Gestational diabetes here too!! I’m already planning that my hospital bag will have more snacks than baby items🤣 I think deffo eating a huge dominos is up there with my ideal plans!!!

@Katie i just got put on Metformin this week and tried a small slice of seeded bread for the first time in like 6 weeks as it set me off, it was the best slice of bread I've ever eaten 😂 and i tolerated it

A bath, fresh pjs and the kettle on 🤣

@Holley that’s amazing!!! I’m diet controlled at the moment, but I think my tolerance is getting lower and lower, I used to tolerate brown bread but now I can’t 😭

@Katie yeah it started like that for me just under two weeks ago I started not tolerating anything so had to go on the medication but it's been so hard to find things I can tolerate that I'm glad to be able to eat proper food again

Oh my god that first sleep on my actual back as opposed to my side was like a slice of heaven after my c-section. The extra pain killers gave it a squishy, cosy edge ☁️

Hoping to cozy up on the couch with the Christmas tree 🎄 up and fireplace on, watching a Christmas movie while getting newborn cuddles and having my 2.5 yo boy cuddling up. Cup of tea and cookies. Sounds perfect 🥰

I'm hopefully home on Christmas Eve, so a nice big glass of Bailey's 🥃

My baby is due any time around my 40th birthday. And I also have GD! I’m desperate for a big fat Chinese and a big dirty slab of cheesecake 🤣

@Sarah 🤤🤤🤤🤤 cheesecake

Other than that, I love what Sarah said about doing the Xmas tree, Christmas movies, I’d add in hot chocolate with my baby snuggles and the dog by my feet 🩷 absolutely perfect

Being able to roll over in bed without feeling like I’m being stabbed 😂 and having a glass of wine! I barely even drank before being pregnant but I’ve been craving a really cold glass of wine 😂

I am fantasising about a whole cake, and eating any snacks I haven’t been able to eat with GD. GD absolutely sucks and everyone’s an expert! I’ll be so glad when it’s gone. I will also be glad if I can move around like normal rather than think I can move around and find that standing up is quite sore 😅

Also GD! I can not wait to eat chocolate, drink full fat coke. I'll be doing that in hospital, though 🤣 I'm taking some in my bag 😅😅 When I get home im planning to have atleast 24 hours in bed with baby to establish BF and get some rest!

Omg, full fat coke! Stop talking dirty, Alana 🤣😂
