Mine did this it went after 4months pp

Yeah I did with my first, took Advil everyday and did my best to not use my thumb so less phone, less games etc for a few months and now it's better

I have this exact thing, went to drs last week and I’ve been referred to the surgeons at the hospital for steroid injections and if that doesn’t work there’s a surgery to stretch (or tighten I can’t remember) the ligaments. It’s got a long name but the dr said basically it’s called young baby syndrome. I’m at 6 month PP and still as bad as ever, it’s horrible!

I have the same thing, spoke to my GP but they won’t do anything about it unless I stop breastfeeding 😬

I have this! I had no idea what it was. It's worse when I wake up and eases throughout the day. In the morning it clicks in and out when I move my thumb. I also have horrible shoulder pain too 😞

@Rachel yep, young baby syndrome!! Get yourself an appointment at drs and they’ll refer you to get steroid injections (if bad). might just give you a splint to try at first or you could just get one yourself and see how you go x

@Lottie thankyou! I never had this with my first two. I wonder if my shoulders has something to do with having babies too!

@Rachel not too sure about shoulders, but I bet it is related all to do with positioning and over straining ligaments. My shoulders ache like I’ve done a workout but I’ve just got a massive baby stuck to my hip 24/7 haha

@Lottie haha! I do carry them around a lot...my 3 year old always wants lifting and carrying and I do use the carrier a lot with my 10 week old...but I feel like it's not just that. Maybe it's hormonal or strained ligaments like you said! I just hope it goes soon!

I had tendinitis after my baby was born. Had to go to physical therapy

Omg! I think I have this!

Thank you everyone I’ll deffo be ringing the doctors xxx
