Cocoa powder (mixed into things obvs) or dark chocolate. The less processed sugar and higher cocoa solids % the better. Though having said that if you are only giving tiny amounts then any chocolate that isn't hard coated (e.g. smartie), contains a flavour filling (e.g. caramel) or whole nuts, is generally ok as long as you can deal with the potential sugar high afterwards. I would just recommend it be a very occasional treat and not a regular thing until they are a few years older (natural sugars e.g. fruit are always the best 1st choice). My boy has had a couple of corners of my chocolate bar so he would leave me alone to eat the rest peace (milk chocolate bar and 3 seperate occasions not multiple corners on one bar), otherwise he has had cocoa powder to make things chocolate flavour as a treat.

It may not necessarily be best I’m not 100% sure but I tend to go for white chocolate for my little girl as from what I read a while back it’s richer in calcium and vitamins than dark chocolate x

Very rarely give my little boy chocolate but if I do I go for a fun size fudge or a few cadburys buttons. Everything in moderation mama🥰

I generally just got for milk chocolate buttons if anything, he doesn't have them often at all and usually him and my 2 year old will share a little packet, shops selling their boxes of 5 packs are great, they're tiny packets but perfect for a few buttons each

None - chocolate contains caffeine. Children should not be having caffeine

I wouldn’t give any at this age but you can make chocolate flavour things at home, like avocado and cocoa mouses etc. They have many years ahead of them to eat chocolate and once they discover it it’s hard to go back to wait as long as possible 🙈

Never give white chocolate to children it’s well known carcinogenic it’s really bad for them. If any give dark chocolate
