I'm 8 months pp and still have belly and more or less 4 kg to lose to return at my pre pregnancy weight. It takes time and effort. Until 6 months I literally don't care of anything weight etc, I focused myself on recovery (CS) rest and everything else, a little bit over a month ago I started a diet which helped me lose over 4 kg already (was 72 now 67.6) and I'm planning to start exercise again from today. Don't be hard on yourself, there is time to return to yourself again
For me it is opposite...I carried the weight for a long time when I had my first at 30 . Had my second one at 40 and lost all the weight real quick in 3 -4 months . But that's because second time I was eating better and also breast feeding .
I don’t think it’s anything to do with age. Some people lose weight easily, some people don’t. Some people do after one pregnancy and not after another. There’s such a variety of factors at play it’s almost impossible to say what is causing you to lose weight / not lose weight xx
@Melissa absolutely true . Everyone is different and everytime is different .
I was 18 with my first and I gain a lot of weight during and after pregnancy. It took me years to lose the weight. With this last pregnancy I barely gained weight and I'm not worried. I want to lose 20 pounds. I am eating healthy but I'm not comfortable working out yet. I'm 35 years old and 6 weeks pp.
I’m 37, had my baby in April and really struggling to get my weight down. Was a size 16-18 before I had her and now wearing size 20. I had no problems losing weight after I had my boys when I was in my 20s. I think in general weight is an issue when in your late 30s onwards. I’m hoping once I’m back at work and haven’t got my kitchen to hand 😂 that I will at least get back down a size or 2. I have found my eating habits have been rubbish since having my daughter xx
