My daughter eats what we eats, she is not much of a meat girl. One week she ate chicken, shrimp and tofu but that’s it lol. I always offer it and if she doesn’t eat it she most likely eats the other food. Tonight we did chicken Mac and cheese, I had broccoli and she finished up the leftover corn. She ate the mac and cheese and corn and touched the chicken but wouldn’t eat it. My mom says to just keep offering
My baby eats what I eat. Anything I wouldn’t eat (for example bland food😂) I don’t blame a baby for not liking it either. People will say to give babies veggies and stuff bland and not to use seasoning but I’ve found that my baby loves flavor and sauces just like me lol. So I chose to feed her whatever I eat so she loves all foods as she gets older. Eating together also helps. When she watches me eat something, she copies. And I say “mmmmm yummy” after every bite and we both do the happy eating dance lol. So maybe you can try the same with your little? I make a lot of Filipino food and other yummy dishes with rice or pasta and whatever is on my plate is also on hers but cut up in small pieces 😊 I also buy Factor meals for days I don’t feel like cooking and I split my meal with her with rice and she loooooveessss them 😅 So maybe you can try those too? Let me know if you want some recipe ideas or a referral code for factor meals. And remember you’re an amazing mama no matter what 🫶🏼
@Daisylyn my daughter won't do anything spicy... Like sometimes too much black pepper is too spicy for her. It's so hard to cook for that because we love spicy food! We do Hello Fresh and she hates almost everything 😔
If you're looking to add calories, I'd consider a toddler milkshake (you can find recipes with milk, yogurt, fruit, etc.) and adding calories with good nutrition like adding chia seeds or flaxseeds (high in calories and omega 3s) to other things like muffins and pancakes. I sometimes even just sprinkle a bit of chia on baby's berries.
Continue to introduce the foods. Slowly eliminate the option you don’t want her to have (dino nuggets). I make baby protein shakes with banana, nut butter etc. I have a vegetarian who currently doesn’t eat veggies lol 🫠
Currently struggling with this same problem I worry my baby is mal nourished but I offer snacks all day and just try to give her what she likes she’s so picky I figure food is better than no food at all. Try yogurts shakes fruit
@Brittany I think all toddlers are air-itarians 😂
My baby loves eating sopita…. I usually put, spinach, carrots, a little piece of onion, a tomato, & garlic. I just make enough for him to last 3 days. He usually drinks a milkshake in the morning or eggs with turkey ham or chorizo. I try to feed him what we eat.
