Would you be offended if one of your friends didn’t wish your child a happy birthday?

So I have a small group chat on what’s app and everyone wished my son happy 2nd birthday apart from one friend. How would you feel?

No I wouldn't. I don't respond or even read everything on my group chats.

I wouldn’t care, they’re still a baby that can’t read. Also, I personally dislike group chats and rarely read them

Yeah, it would annoy the hell out of me

I think it would depend on how close we were and if they had other things going on in their life or not at the time....

wouldn’t bother me

I wouldn't care... I dont remember my friends kids bdays so I don't expect them to remember mine.

It’s not about remembering… everyone in the group chat wished him a happy birthday and she saw and didn’t bother to message. For me it’s more about principle because when it’s the other little one’s birthday she messages in it

@Rachel glad I’m not the only one

I open messages without reading them. Sometimes I read and forget to respond, sometimes I type a message without pressing send 😂 sometimes I just have other priorities and forget about it. I am pretty sure I've messaged about some birthdays in the group and not others. Thankfully my friends know me well enough to understand it's not personal.
