Mums returning to work, what kind of childcare will you use?

As long as your childminder is registered for the scheme, not all may accept it because they don’t get the full amount back from the government or they may accept the free hours but charge for extras like food

We are doing Nursery for 2 and family for 1 day. I’m only back to work 3 days a week. Like the others have said childminders will accept the funding if they are registered. Like nurseries if their costs are higher they might charge extra on top xx

So we have a bit of an in between setup. She’s technically a childminder but has 2 assistants so 3 adults to 9 children under 3. It’s in a purpose built outhouse at the bottom of the garden as a mini nursery kind of set up and then the babies sleep in a room in the house. It’s the perfect in between for us and baby settled really well despite never having been left x
