@Melissa S my little boy had to have the week off nursery last week as the doctor suspected strep and he got put on antibiotics. He’s back tomorrow after finally showing signs of improving and I know it’s all going to go downhill yet again 🤦🏼♀️. I know it’ll get better eventually but nursery is an absolute killer right now! I had considered delaying the milk so I might take the same approach until he seems better!
Exactly the same here too. My LG is on the same meals everyday as she's refusing anything else. That's a really good idea about introducing cows milk over Xmas when they are home. I think I will do the same as I'm sure she's caught another cold, she woke up with a snotty nose this morning 😅
Literally sounds just like us! Used to be the best eater, would eat and love everything! Since a mixture of being ill, molars coming through and starting at childminders he is so fussy. Feeding him at the moment isn’t fun at all, he just screams, he even went through a stage where heel wouldn’t touch pouches or yoghurts Like you super conscious I need to be stopping formula soon but worried he just isn’t eating and getting enough goodness xxx
We are in exactly the same boat. Our girl has been ill with snotty nose, cough for over 6 weeks now. She seems to pick up towards the end of the week then she's back at nursery again on Mondays and seems to take a downward turn. We are delaying introducing milk until she has some time off over Christmas. We are hoping the break for nursery and time spent at home will build her immune system back up plus we will be with her to deal with any adverse effects. It's super common for them to go through a rough couple of months when they start nursery. Hope he gets better soon ❤️
