Possible induction at 38 weeks
I have GD but my blood sugars don't go past 180. Controlled by diet and insulin. They mentioned an induction in 2 weeks cause of the blood sugar not responding to insulin. Also recommended induction cause I live 50 min from hospital. What's the process? My first baby came at 37 w 4 days and under 4 hrs. I'm 35 w 5 days now.

I was induced at 40 weeks and the only thing they had to do was give me pitocin. I was already 4cm dilated and 80% effaced so it progressed very quickly. Pushed twice and my baby was born! I’m hoping it’s just as easy for you!
