Ahh I’m pregnant! So, my baby is 6 month younger than yours but, if you have an infant, I’d love your advice
I just found out I’m pregnant. My barely 3 year old will be an older sibling. Anyone with two kiddos, with the younger in their first six months of life? Give me all the advice pretty pretty please!!! Things you didn’t think of/realize?
I found getting my son fully involved during the pregnancy and during the newborn stage was so helpful. He was almost 2 when my daughter was born. But we gave him a baby doll with play diapers and stuff so he could ‘carry a baby just like mommy’. We took him to appointments, let him pick out nursery items and just talked to him about the baby. When his sister was born our biggest concern was he was gonna feel left out with a new baby taking attention. So we involved him in EVERYTHING. He “helped” with diapers and nap time, covering her up and making bottles. They soon just turned into best friends. It’s a year and a half later and they do everything together by their own choice! (I’m cherishing it while it lasts cuz I know it won’t be forever)😂
