Teething

We are currently in the trenches of cutting his top 2 teeth and it’s been a nightmare, has anyone else’s baby gone off food when teething? He didn’t when he cut his bottom 2 but for the last 2 days he will have about 2 spoons and then just refuse and keep his mouth shut. I’ve even tried giving him finger foods but he’s not interested. Do I just give him extra milk to make up for it?

Yes my LO did! It was so tough, the only food we could get in him was cold cucumber sticks, cold carrots whole (under supervision ofc) and banana 😬 i offered milk more often but wasn't worried if he didn't take it xx

Yes we are currently in the same situation. She has the two at the bottom and she is now cutting the due at the top, first one came already out, we are waiting for the second. The first one at the top poor baby screamed the hell out on Sunday :( and yes she is eating less than usual (more milk from the boob though) but less food. We are doing BLW and I switched recently to some pures to help her.

Same here, he’ll only eat puréed foods and won’t take any milk unless it’s at night and he’s half asleep x

@Natalie oh we have the moaning too, he’ll sit with a teething toy him his mouth just moaning/screaming 😩

We’ve actually managed to get him to eat some toast today which is a success, glad we’re not the only Ones going through it
