Being completely honest, Georgia has been a red state forever. I had a brief thought about that, but then I snapped back into reality. There are plenty of people of color in Georgia that will allow my children to feel embraced by their community. I’m not giving any man power over me. @Sophia I don’t think anyone is pro killing babies. HOWEVER, there is more to this conversation that “reckless sex” it’s women who have pregnancy complications where the baby will not survive, and the mother having to carry it despite the risk of her death as well. Many OBGYNS are pulling their resumes and residency applications from red states out of fear of consequences by doing the right thing by their patient. This happened to me. My baby was planned, wanted, and my water broke at 20 weeks. Babies can not survive without amniotic fluid. The earliest NICU in doesn’t accept babies until 23 weeks. The risk of carrying a baby who has already passed in your womb has several possible complications, including septic and death. There are mothers whose babies have severe chromosomal abnormalities and will die within first few months of life, will have no quality of life, and those mothers feel they made a selfless decision based on recommendations and would give anything to have them.

@Sophia I think you’re confusing men and women. It’s MEN who brag about having sex with a ton of women. It’s MEN who have “reckless sex.” MEN are usually the rapists. Why does MY WOMAN body have to be regulated? And if we allow women to abort pregnancies who are a product of rape, how are we going to prove it?? Look at how many RAPE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT charges Donald Trump himself has avoided. How long will court proceedings takes to prove rape? Definitely longer than it takes a fetus to become viable. Then what? “Oh well?” “Too bad for you, whore?” “Should’ve been in a different place, wearing different clothes!” And file paperwork with the government about my healthcare?? Maybe men should be required to have vasectomies? They’re reversible, near painless, and take 6 minutes. Maybe we should start regulating their bodies?

Politicians always have something we don't particularly favor or consider as evil intent. I chose the lesser of the 2. Taking away women's rights is wrong. Women should have the right to do what they want with their body. On the same token women DO abuse that system of getting abortions because they are not ready to be a mom. Well you shouldnt be ready to have sex. I known women who used that as some kind of birth control and abused it. Now rape, molestation, violation of a women AT ALL as well as medical reasons should DEFINITELY be taken into consideration. It's also other ways to go about making sure you don't have to physically live with the effect of a violation or purposeful (through having irresponsible sex). It's called adoption, seregacy, etc. Alot of females see abortions as an easy way to get out of whatever irresponsible acts they have done for the most part... It's sad & ridiculous. I agree with it not being readily available. I also agree that women's bodies should not be regulated.
