Fussy eater

Anyone else’s 1 year old all of a sudden a very fussy eater? My little girl has always been a good feeder/eater but since her vaccinations she barely eats what I offer her! Trying not to get too stressed over it

Yup! Every day is hit and miss. For dinner tonight my little boy just had broccoli, half a tomato and a tangerine. 🫣 id made him lamb curry in the slow cooker and he wasn’t interested at all! I’ve given up getting stressed about it.

Yes 😭 Make her lovely nutritious meals and she either takes 2 bites then has a meltdown, or squelches it between her hands or chucks it on the floor 🤦‍♀️ Like today she's had 2 shreddies, a mouthful of brocolli, 2 grapes, a spoonful of chicken and that's it. But would drink gallons of milk if i let her! I always worry she's not having enough but then a Dr told me that a 1 year old can only eat one tablespoon of each food group per meal, eg 1 tbsp meat, 1 tbsp carbs & 1 tbsp veg. That really put it in perspective for me as I do think I was expecting too much from her. I've also cut down on snacks which seems to help a bit with her appetite for main meals. X

@Jane that’s really interesting about what the dr said!!
