My LB is doing this atm. I say "name" no, but if he does it again I remove his plate and just give him 1 or 2 things at a time. This works most of the time but sometimes he thinks he's being funny and throws those bits as well. If he does this, I still just continue saying "name" no and giving 1/2 things at a time. Anything he throws gets picked up and put to one side before going in the bin... or the dog hoovers up the bits she likes 🤣🤣 x
It’s been happening with us for a while and I just don’t react. She doesn’t seem to be doing it as much as she used to. I know she’ll grow out of it x
We just say 'food stays on the table' if she throws it again we pop it to one side. Problem is we have a dog so she finds it fun throwing food to the dog 😅
I only portion up a few bites of the meal. I also only give meals if I know she’s deffo hungry as sometimes she throws if she’s not but she’ll eat straight away if she’s hungry
I say no we don’t throw food and food that gets thrown I pick up and pop to one side but don’t give back. It’s definitely a phase and developmental xx
