Birthdays

If you don’t celebrate birthdays do you do nothing when it’s your child’s birthday? My son is turning 2 next month. My husband is big on not celebrating birthdays but I also feel like 2 is a huge milestone. I’m thinking of taking him somewhere fun that week or something just to make memories instead of treating it like any other day. Those of you that don’t celebrate birthdays what do you do when it’s your child’s birthday?

You don’t have to do a full on celebration but there’s nothing wrong with putting a few balloons up and giving your son presents. I mean it’s just a little something special for him to enjoy once a year. I’d call ‘celebrating’ when you invite people over and make it into a party. I mean there is no harm in even getting him a cake to eat on his special day
