My SIL did this and liked it a lot
I work in a nursery and lo is with me till she goes school! Absolutely loves it and great way to get money and spend time with lo😍
@Chloe this makes me feel better! do u ever find it difficult to take care of your baby and the other children at the same time? like how do you go about that?
I worked at my church nursery in high-school. As long as you're giving the other kids the same level of love and attention, I don't think it would be an issue. You can baby wear to keep your hands free, but know that you are the care provider if another kid is in a dangerous situation.
Also, it gives your LO time to socialize with others around their age
Adding a different perspective in case it's helpful but I know you're in the US. In most places in the UK your child can be in the same childcare setting but not the same room as you or have you as their key worker. Obviously you'd naturally prioritise your own child over others which isn't fair. So they're always with someone else in another part of the building but you can obviously see them a lot more than if you didn't work there!
I used to work in a daycare and brought my son with me when he was 1-2
Yes I do that now ,it's working out good. My son is a bit older tho,he started going to the daycare with me when he was 15 months
@Sophia even though you would think some children get jealous and would want all mums attention, my lo is to busy 🤣 so she fits in just good so I am able to give my attention like a normal day, may take a few times to settle in at first.
If you need/want the money, I'd do it. I worked at an in home daycare when my kid was only a few months old, and it wasn't too bad. I think having multiple people it's be easy to do too
