There’s baby rhyme time in Amelia Scott library that runs on Tuesday 10am and 11am
@Georgia thank you so much! This is so helpful. The cafe sounds great for play and feeding as well. Really stressing out as we both love being at home 🙃 and trying to somehow spend a whole day, from 5am, somewhere other than home is just really overwhelming
@Gabrielle thank you so much. I saw on the website a nice long session at a church so that might work really well too.
@Claudia you’re more than welcome! I can imagine it’s quite a stressful situation trying to occupy baby as well as worrying about your other half in a place that is unfamiliar but you’ve done the right thing by planning ahead! Tunbridge wells is actually quite good and has quite a few options, town is quite big so hopefully after the play cafe, you have good weather which means you could walk up to the main part of town whilst baby naps to do some Xmas shopping! The Amelia Scott also does rhyme time on a Tuesday for 30 mins so maybe you could fit that in too! Xx
@Georgia thank for your kind words. Your reassurance has genuinely made me feel so much better 😌
Depending on the weather you could go for a nice walk from town along to Dunorlan Park (approx 20mins each way) to feed the ducks. There’s a little cafe too. If you need a changing station the one in Fenwicks is usually the cleanest I found.
@Sophie thank you very much 😊
Hey, there is Amazon adventure which has a baby room aswell as softplay. There is also a softplay cafe in town called Claudia’s as well. If you go into the main shopping centre, there is softplay on the bottom floor which is free to use. If you look at surestart, they also have some free baby groups in the area depending on what day you are visiting xx
