Increase meal offerings to 4 times a day, breakfast, before nap, after nap, and dinner. Think of whole fat yogurt like a substitution for milk, snacking on spoonfuls of peanut butter was a really easy way to get my boy to gain a bit. It's not all perfect solutions, but takes a consistent change of calorie intake to make a difference
My daughter usually eats 3 times a day at 11 months and she’ll eat eggs and fruit in the morning, snack before nap usually a banana (she loves em) and for nap a bottle then wakes up gets a bottle and after about an hour a snack and then she gets dinner usually some kind of meat and a veggie or fruit she likes fruit more
Also a bottle for bed too
My son is pretty underweight and we saw a nutritionist who told us to try to limit snacking so that they eat more during meal times. Also adding fats like avocado, olive oil, peanut butter, or heavy cream to their meals. We try to make our son a smoothie everyday with oats, fruit, peanut butter and milk and he loves them! Nutritional shakes are also a pretty quick way to get more calories like pediasure or kendakids!
Thank you all these are all amazing tips !!
