@Emer wow she sounds like a great eater! I tried putting it on his tray and he picked up each piece and threw it on the floor one by one 🙃 he’s also too stubborn to let me feed him he wants to do everything himself! Good idea with the sauces though, I need this buy a blender asap! X
maybe try finger foods, my lo loves pancakes put fruit in them with veg il texture blend it into food. fruit and Greek yoghurt is good one to try
We had this a month ago and it's much better now. Birthday 2nd October. Hopefully it will pass for you soon! He had a bit of lentil today that he rejected 12 times before for months and months! At the worst stage I mixed yoghurt with everything and offered blended versions of veg. Cauliflower has a very mild taste I'm sure you can mix some blended boiled cauliflower with some orzo pasta and cheese. If he cries on your lap I would put it down to bad mood and try later after some teething gel. And having music in the background helps
Thank you ladies you’re amazing i’ll try all of this x
I found it my wee girl that if you don't fuss over her, she's more likely to eat it. So I'll put food on her try, then walk away to clean the kitchen, she happily eats its all. She will interact with me when she wants to and then goes back to concentrating on her food and I go back to doing what I was doing. Then towards the end of her meal. I'll sit and have mine with her, and interact. She loves it, sometimes she will eat things off my plate rather than her own. Sometimes she likes to feed herself, other times she likes me to feed her with a fork instead because we are eating with utensils. You'll get there with him, don't be worrying to much 😊 as long as he's eating something, that's good. If you are worried about his veg intake. Maybe blend it in sauces so you know he is getting nutritional food. And the rest will come eventually
