She is a crook. I would not be following any advice she provides regarding infant nutrition. Between October 2018 and January 2019, the New South Wales Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) received several complaints from health practitioners and the general public about O'Neill's health advice. These included a complaint that the advice she provided regarding infant nutrition could cause death if followed, where she disclosed her directives were not based on any guidelines or evidence.

Fellow crunchy mum . No hate here I follow certain things from Barbra not religiously but things that resonate with me. I haven’t heard anything about how she introduces to babies. A great resource is Milk to Meals it is a great book to have and goes step by step on what to introduce and if you have Insta you can search up boob to food for free advice. Obviously no suggestions about baby cereals or like nothing processed and all about the nutrition needed for that time

How old is bub? Remember “before 1 is just for fun” milk is solely their nutritional supply and after 1 you have little to no risk of interfering with gut development so long as you are sourcing healthy organic foods (non organic contain a lot of carcinogenic chemicals even after rinsing that can cause rashes/sore tummy for bub. Try and introduce fruits and egg and avocado etc and offer whatever you’re having for dinner of an afternoon so they will develop familiarity with your meals and cooking. That helps greatly with avoiding very picky toddlers struggling with stressful malnourishment down the track. I love Barbara o Neil but I haven’t come across infant nutrition yet hope this helps! 🙏🏼😇

I love listening to her speak! I don’t follow any in particular but from having constant gut issues myself I just created my own structure… started with veggies & fruit ONLY (& breastmilk) for a few months .. then introduced meat… so basically just eating fruit, veggies, meats for first year. I hold back on grains, bread/ gluten & dairy & ofcourse honey.. the only other thing my babies had around 1 was goats milk formula no cows milk … & i would give almond milk if i was mixing with rice powder & banana etc
