I had an emergency C section. You go to a recovery section straight from theatre then onto a 4 bed ward. Partner can stay with you throughout - they will only have a chair to sleep on.
Exactly same as AJ Sent husband home though to get proper sleep at night so he could come in during day so I could sleep The wards are noisy at night
