Weaning
Has anybody weaned baby slowly to formula? Thinking of starting to wean my girl and just BF morning and night. Just looking for tips/advice!

Yes I am bc my supply has decreased greatly since returning to work. She gagged and cried profusely the first formula and I thought I was doomed, but greatly liked the second brand I got more. I would suggest buying a couple different ones to test! We did 1/2 breast milk 1/2 formula in the bottle
Me ✋🏼 I started because I noticed my milk supply was dropping.. I breastfeed during the day and her bedtime bottle is now formula. I started with a bottle of 4oz bm/ 1oz formula for a few days, then I gave her 3oz bm/2oz formula.. and so on until I gave her a full formula bottle. I just wanted to make sure the formula wouldn’t be too heavy on her tummy 🫶🏼

I have never weaned my baby off breast milk. However, maybe this could help. He didn’t like the formula AT ALL. 🤢😂 But I’ve been adding a teaspoon of formula to his milk. Then increase the amount. Testing the waters ya know. Also been using formula in his oatmeal and cereal. He still eats and drinks it. If I put too much formula inside, I try to mask the taste with fruits.
