Pancakes either normal ones or just banana pancakes x

Tbh I’m a softie my grandma would force feed us. It was horrible I think the horrible part was already being full and it just the swallowing 😭 what was left on the spoon soon after we’d vomit In front of her or when she left we’d hid it or throw it away. Wasn’t a great experience nor anything over long periods of time. But it did instill in me to not do it. Try smoothies? Kids and be extremely picky have you tried or notice if it’s any textures of food he doesn’t like? Or color maybe? Have you tried the eggs different notice he maybe likes it a different style. How do you feel about frozen food? Like waffles pancakes French toast ? Does he like any of those my Lo doesn’t eat pancakes but will eat mini waffles and or French toast sticks 😅 You can do like yogurt with fruits veggies with cottage cheese if he likes cottage cheese or even cheese ?

Berries and pancakes. They love berries lol

Wtf am I reading. You should NEVER force feed a child!

To be honest sounds like a very bad way to feed him just let him lead you shouldn’t force a child to eat anything x

@H nooo he’s never full I know as he woke up after 12 hours of last feed how he’s full u know , he likes cheese sticks but I don’t think they so healthy as a breakfast ?? He doesn’t like pancakes and french toast I tried xx but will try cottage cheese

@Jade he’s always sooo constipated as he don’t eat and he’s loosing weight I can tell .i can’t see him starving himself like this as I try new things everyday he don’t eat I have to do it xx

Are you feeding him yourself or is he self feeding?

I make scotch pancakes for my baby, and he devours them! He absolutely hates regular baby pancake recipes. They are much too mushy. 1 egg, whisked Splash of vanilla Half cup sifted flour Teaspoon of baking powder Quarter cup of milk, Mix all that together and then add fruit! I add frozen berries, grated apple, or fresh berries. And if I do just grated apple, I add some cinnamon.

Also, whenever my baby doesn't want to eat something or even try it, I act like I'm eating or I actually eat some and go. "Mmmm yummy! Do you want to try some?" And 9 times out of 10 he will start eating it.

@GMF sometimes he’s self feeding sometimes I do

@Alisha thnkx xx

@Nur some kids really prefer to self feed, plus it advances their eating skills so much. I know you’re obviously worried about appropriate weight gain - has this concern been confirmed by a doctor? I would be very careful with force feeding as it could lead to a lifetime of really picky eating as your child gets older.

@Alisha THIS! 😂

@GMF yeahhhh I totally understand thnx for this advise it really means alot I didn’t think of it before x

@Nur I think they are the cheese sticks but also cottage cheese they have different texture like really smooth like a smoothie or like little curds. You can add sweet or savory things as a topping if look more into recipes

Cream of rice, or cream of buckwheat, heathy breakfast chicken sausage, fruit

Omelette,cornbeef hash, toasties, pancakes, Potatoe cakes with toppings, yoghurt and fruit, smoothies bubble and squeak, tea cake, crossaints and jam

@Nur please contact your health visitor instead of force feeding your child. They'll be able to tell you if they're following their growth curve. They do slim down over time because they're more active. You might be causing fussiness by giving lack of choice

We also do grazing platters, rice pudding, crumpets with cheese, topped crispbread and then cooked breakfast
