Crawling

My lo isn't interested at all. He has never rolled back to front or front to back. He sits properly but can't sit up on his own. I'm not too bothered. I guess more tummy time would speed things up. However, they are only 8 months old. I won't force my child to hit all the milestones as soon as the book says. (Not saying other mothers do! I'm just expressing my point of view) ❤️

Mine isn’t and she’s 8 months on the 23rd She loves to sit unattended and can do this quite well. She rolls(but think she’s just lazy as doesn’t do it 24/7 😆) I do tummy time every day and try and play with her as much as I can! 💗

@Dragon mummy yeah of course we wouldn’t be forcing babies to meet milestones 😧 I don’t think you could anyway in my experience they are stubborn wee things 😂 it makes me feel better that other babies are the same though. I go to a baby group and the other babies her age are crawling so it makes you feel like your baby is behind 😬

@Sophie that’s good then as we are the same. Although she rolls around all the time so maybe that’s just her way of getting around instead of crawling. Guess they’ll do it when they’re ready 😊

Incognito a few days ago I read one mommy here was telling how her lo blows kisses, crawling, WAVE byebye and It made me think wtf am I doing wrong?? I literally spend every moment with my child when he's not asleep 🤷🏼‍♀️ my husband said I'm crazy and our baby is perfect the way he is. The later he grows up the longer of a baby we have. I stopped worrying my baby isn't a book baby. And I hope I didn't offend any other mothers ❤️

My LG has always hated tummy time! She was slower to roll and not interested in crawling yet. But she can stand holding onto something 😅 she also has four teeth and waves. They all develop stuff at different times, I'm not worried. But sometimes I do look at other babies and wonder what am I doing wrong or is she behind!!

Same here. Completely normal!

My LG was like that until around 2 weeks ago and she just started crawling today. It’ll come but as everyone’s said, every baby is different x

some babies skip crawling and go straight for walking lol my LG seems to be doing that
