I didn’t know that was a thing tbh. I ate soup in my last pregnancy and I’ve had loads of tinned soup in this pregnancy. I’ve been completely fine x
🤷🏻♀️idk, I still eat soup
I think that’s an optional precaution rather than actually needed. Not stated in the nhs website for example which focuses on the actual risks which are alcohol, unpasteurised cheeses etc. My preference would be to transfer to a pot and heat that way.
I didn't realise this was ever a thing, I've ate soup through both my pregnancies and never heard anything😂 I feel if we listened to all the advice of what we should and shouldn't eat we'd be stuck on a diet of carrot sticks and not much else😂
Yeah I’d do what Lauren said and remove the soup from the plastic container and heat it up in a pan or normal bowl in the microwave… just cos some plastics have toxins in. But honestly I very much doubt it’ll make much of a difference! I’m just a bit weird about stuff like that 😂🤯
I’ve been eating tins of soup. I didn’t realise it was a thing. X
