I think it can differ so much that being premie probably makes negligible difference. My twins were born dead on 37 weeks and like my singleton teethed really late. The earliest a tooth cut through on any of them was 11 months. Twin A is 16 months and only now cutting a third one. But I know many in the same birth month have a full set by now. Some babies are born with teeth!

Yeah, there is a huge range when it comes to teething regardless of whether they’re premature or not. My son was 9 weeks early and there were definitely a few times when I thought he was teething (around 6 & 8 months) but in the end his first tooth didn’t come until the week of his first birthday!

My LB 12 weeks early didn't get his first tooth until 11 months/8 corrected

My baby started showing signs of teething from 2-3 months but teeth didn’t appear until 9 months. I know some non-prem babies who are over 1 and don’t have teeth.
