Best thing about growing up in the 90's

Reading the tv guide to work out what to watch this week. No phones, no social media. When you called someone you couldn’t connect if they were on the internet. “Can she come out to play today?” Jumping on my bike to knock at friends houses after school. Playing out in the woods, cycling for miles away from home, out until the street lights came on or mum started calling my name. School discos!!! Penny sweets and squeezy pops at the tuck shop, mambo number5 and steps on repeat. SMTV live and Saturday morning cartoons. Toys R Us!! I was never bored. I wasn’t sad. I wasn’t stressed. You just had fun, it was carefree. I’d do 1990s in a heartbeat again if I could ✌️❤️💿📺
