Shouldn’t be any reason why and if you have any worries about babies movements you’re always best to get checked.
@Jess she was the one who got me to take iron supplements because when they did my blood test my iron was low
@Carla so in that case I would absolutely keep taking them. They wouldn’t recommend them if you didn’t need them Any concerns with movements phone up and get checked
@Jess and I said can I take the pregnacare she said yes as there isn't much iron in it but this was a different midwife who said it as I called to ask if it's okay to take the pregnacare she said it was fine
I also take pregnacare and iron supplements, don’t see why this would have an impact on babies movements? But yes, deffo keep taking iron if you’re low
@Leanne yeah I'm still taken my iron supplements as the midwife spoke to my doctor about getting me some I just haven't taken my pregnacare today I've been taken pregnacare since I found out I was pregnant
That wouldn’t have an impact of babies movements. If you’re concerned baby isn’t moving much, phone triage and get them to check you over
@Samantha the baby heart beat is fine
In the nicest possible way but- are you even reading what people are telling you? Seems like you are repeating yourself and bulldozing over everyone's answers and suggestions thst its fine to take iron+pregnacare and get checked out if you are concerned about movements x
@Alina I'm sorry I have something wrong with me which I aren't saying I don't realise I repeat myself sometimes till someone actually says not my fault
@Carla sorry! But yes like everyone mentioned it is safe to take both! And if you're worried about movement ( which has nothing to do with iron supplement) you should definitely call the assessment centre to be seen and monitor babies' movements for your reassurance! x
Any concern with movements go to your maternity assessment unit
Personally if your midwife has suggested or okay’d you taken iron then I would continue to do so, lack of or low iron can cause complications later on in pregnancy and taken the two supplements together shouldn’t affect babies movements, it’s very common to take a folic acid supplement as well as iron If you’re concerned about your baby’s movements I would speak to your midwife or maternity unit and go get checked up just to be safe x
