Ahh amazing thank you so much. How did you find out / apply for the hospital one? My midwife didn’t mention that one (but I am only 9 weeks still so may be why!) xx
We did NCT and were lucky to get on really well with our group, it was so handy particularly in the early days to have other parents with babies born very close together 😚 I would say that the focus was majority on birth but not a lot about what happens when the baby is actually here!
@Charlotte if you go to this link and at the bottom There’s another link where you can book the classes. Hopefully it will work for you. https://www.hampshirehospitals.nhs.uk/our-services/az-departments-and-specialties/maternity-services-new/antenatal-education/confident-birthing-workshops
I would recommend the ‘Village Midwife’ with Nikki if you’re looking for an antenatal class. Cheaper than NCT and run by an actual midwife, which NCT isn’t. We learnt so much and the ongoing after support is great too ☺️
Thank you so much everyone!! Much appreciated. I think for me the social aspect is so appealing as we live away from friends and family… so really want to find and build “my village”. Thanks again 💗
We’re currently doing the free one through the hospital. It’s runs once a week for four weeks. So far really good. Really informative and nice of meet other couples. Apparently at the end they add you into a WhatsApp group all together too! Basically like NCT without the price tag xx
