Nicknames for Francis?? so far Frankie or Franky is my favorite. It’s a family name and we love the full name but worry about a nickname. Husband claims you need a nickname with the full! Overall thoughts on Francis for a baby boy? We have one other contender but keep coming back to this one because it is meaningful! Love old fashioned traditional names!

I think Francis is a great, classic name for a boy. I don't know what other nickname you could give a boy aside from Frank/Frankie/Franky. If you use the name for a girl, the feminine spelling is typically Frances. All the nicknames Karma listed above work great for a girl named Frances.

i love Franky as a nickname for Francis! kinda feel like Franky is more of a masculine spelling, as I associate Frankie more as a girl's name i don't think you *need* a nickname, but other potential nicknames ideas: Fran Fritz Friz/Fris Franz Frank Fraz Cissy France Fizzy/Fizz? Ace 💙
