Looking to relocate need suggestions

What areas are family-friendly, good schools and daycares, offer community friendly events and reasonable apartments in illinois? This is a fresh start and I been visiting many places trying to decide and connect in the Area. My job has openings throughout the state and transfers.

I moved from Fl to Woodstock about 2 years ago now . I like it , it’s a smaller town my kids love both of the elementary schools they are in . The help with special needs kids is great, the resources, it honestly feels like home . Again a smaller town so you have to travel to crystal lake or mchenry to go out . “15-45 minute drive depending on traffic “ . Honestly only complaint is rentals are few and far between. And we’re having a hard time finding jobs that pay enough/ can work opposite shifts unfortunately that’s part of not having a support system with small kids. We’re looking to probably relocate again this summer , we’re looking at Wisconsin .
