Anyone have kids with pica

I'm just after tips on how to manage pica, my son eats tons of mud even when we constantly watch he sneaks it in, and it comes back out in his nappies

My response is definitely off the beating track but, have you looking into CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) as a possibility? Perhaps for a faster response and possibly cheaper, get those mouthing toys. Some are necklaces that the child can wear and learn to “ONLY put that object in their mouth and nothing else but food.” My 7 years old does NOT have pica but still puts objects in his mouth from time to time. And we have different mouthing toys for him that fulfill those sensory needs.

He has them it's just when he's outside and see's mud he can't resist to eat It
