Toddler not eating

My little boy is coming up 14months has been ebf and we started to wean him doing baby led weaning at about 7months as he was so independent and would eat better by himself but he has got fussier as the months have gone on and will hardly eat anything. Ive tried making loads of different things but he will just throw it in the floor or cry to get out of his high chair Im at such a loss as i dont know how to get him to eat more and every one just says hell eat when hes ready, yet theyre also the same people that sit and judge when i nurse him 🥺 any ideas?

Following as we're in a similar position. I've had people say to me when I tell them my daughter is trying to nose dive out of her high chair to bring the plate of finger food to the lounge so she can come and go picking bits. I don't know if it's a phase they are going through as they are now such busy little people and sitting to eat seems to take up too much of their time

My boy is 20 months old and some days are better than others. Some days he’ll smash everything I make, other he will lob it on the floor. I’ve come to accept this chaos. It gets easier if you do. If they’re hungry, they’ll eat x

Just wanted to say I’m still breastfeeding my boy too ☺️ he’s definitely got better over the last few weeks but I’m sure he’ll go through a fussy period again.

@Chelsea thank you for the reassurance its what i needed!! Its so hard because i see my friends little ones smashing down loads of food and my boys so hit and miss, and i think im so worried hell end up a fussy kid that only eats chips 😭🙈 And then you have a odd good day once in a blue moon and hell eat all his veggies and i think I’ve smashed it 🤣x

Mines is greedy all I had to do was take him to IHOP give him some pancakes no more breast feeding

@Christine thank you x
