How much does your baby eat?
My LO is 9 months old & I feel we are struggling with food. I see so much online about babies eating & how much they are having & Just can’t help but feel I’m not doing a great job.
We are only really on 2 meals a day & some
Snacks, but doesn’t always eat the food. Has some little bits & then just plays around with it!! is this normal?

My boy is the same, he will have breakfast and tea with snacks but I have found while he is teething he won't drink or eat much at all
My boy is the same. He was doing better with solids and eating everything we gave him and then suddenly gone back to refusing everything, even his favourites. As Katie said, food before one is just for fun and about trying different flavours and textures. They will get there

Mine hardly eats at all but then neither did my 1st at this stage. There’s a saying that “food before one is just for fun”, i.e. exactly as you said he’s doing with it. Keep doing what you’re doing, they’ll get there. Mine hardly puts anything in his mouth at all, mostly just squishes whatever he’s got
