It's more likely she has stomach ache from having a meal in the evening tbh. At 7 months is when you usually introduce the second meal and 3rd isn't added until 8-9 months. How many naps does she have? How do you get her back to sleep?
she may just not be getting enough calories in general throughout the day. she should still be getting almost all of her calories from milk or formula right now and food is just complementary
Does she eat puree or regular food?
I think she’s hungry so easily fixable. At 7mths I was giving my son 3 meals, bf on demand throughout the day and giving 210ml of formula before bed. He would sleep through the night. What are you doing when she cries 2-4am? As for lunch ideas… literally anything. Pancakes, banana, porridge, mashed veg, thick soup. Literally anything and everything just watch the salt content and chocking hazards. Then go lighter for dinner and do a big bottle
@Francesca yes I think she is hungry! I end up making her a bottle and she settles straight away so I thought giving her three meals day might make her feel more full up and content during the night xx
@Natalie I did think about stomach ache but she has her last meal at 5pm by 2am it would have though she could have complained sooner if it was tummy ache? She’s on two naps she has 2 hours in the morning then 40-60mins at 2/3 then bed half 6/7 x
Maybe but if she was tired enough to settle for the initial bit and has been laid with food processing when she wakes up it may be that she's aware of it more? That's quite early for 2 naps. Split nights are usually cos timings aren't right.
Yes do this but only in additional to all the milk. How much milk are you giving during the day and before bed?
Following because this is happening to me too!
