Psychoeducational Evaluation results

Hi there, I have an 7 year old son in second grade. He has been delayed in his academics since he started. He has an IEP and receives speech and OT through his school. He recently got a psychoeducatational evaluation and I received his psychoeducational results. I.AM.SO.OVERWHELMED. 😢 Anyone out there who has navigated the special education process. I would love to learn and know what resources are out there to help support my child. Thank you!

Depending on where you are there should be a regional office that you go thru this with (where I am it’s called Alta). Family resource centers can be a great resource to help with this too, just to have someone who isn’t with school/district but can help with understanding it & the process. It can be so confusing & you have to advocate for your baby every step of the way. Make sure in the process everything’s explained to you

Thank you so much! This is a completely new experience that I am trying to navigate.
