Ant problem

So I live in one of those small typical Edmonton apartments, since June 2023 we’ve had ants. The landlord always forgets to make arrangements with pest control and today I went to eat a snack that was individually wrapped and it was covered in ants I only noticed until the second bite 🤢🤢🤢 what can I do in this situation besides move?
