Travel Tips for Mama and her 20 month old

Hi there! I’m flying to San Antonio to visit my best friend and her daughter and want to take my baby girl too. However, although not impossible, I’m unsure how to maneuver luggage, car seat, AND a stroller all by myself. 😭 Any tips on how to make this process a little easier? This would be her first time on a plane so unsure of how she’ll do. Thanks!

Bring a few favorite snacks and empty water bottle (you can fill it after security check). Grab a few new toys you think she will love- we bring a doodle board and Melissa and Doug color with water book (again fill the brush with water after security). A new flip book and my little likes little people figures and they playdough so I bring those. I also put a few cartoons on my iPad and downloaded toddler match and sort games. We fly from FL to NY each Christmas and drive 4 hours to visit my mom monthly.

Safe travels!

Great advice! Thank you so much!

Oh I just saw you asking about luggage. When my youngest was that age I put him in a baby carrier and checked the carseat curbside when I got out of the car . They sell car seat travel bags at Walmart you can write your info on. You can bring a stroller all the way to the plane though and check it when you board which may be easier.

Sweet! I’ll definitely look into those car seat bags for sure. Thanks again!
