How would I go about putting my child’s father on child support without being in contact with him? I currently don’t have him on child support and don’t even know if I want to put him on child support but just wanted some insight just in case I decided to do so one day
You just have to go through division of child support for Washington. You can call or go to the link of apply for child support. You don’t need to be in contact with the father. They can find him if you have his full name, and maybe birthday and location. They do the rest and mail him the stuff or his job if he’s currently working. They’ll automatically take out what he owes in child support from his paycheck or have him pay what he owes if he doesn’t have a job.
