My mom repeatedly called me Lizard today which is super out of character for her and the closest I get to my name lol doesn’t bother me though
Lol I'm mom, mommy, momma. I work so I hear my name then, but it sounds so strange to hear my name lol!
I work in the office 2 days a week and they won't even call be my name there. They just call me by my first initial, which I honestly hate. My husband only uses a nickname. My mom and sister call me mommy cause they are always around my kids and they do it for them. So honestly, having a hard time remembering...
I've changed my name from my birth name as my birth name gives me bad memories. they only person I see in person who calls me by my preferred name is my bf and I only see him on the weekends. every other day its my birth name and I hate it.
I honestly don't remember when since I go by a nickname at work and haven't been called by my real name in so long I even tell my doctors and any appointments to call me by my nickname if they can't pronounce my name mainly I get called by my last name at most places
My husband usually called me mami or baby but I get calls by family members/friends that call me my name.
We don’t use pet names and my husband calls me by my actual name when out in public (I’m only mummy if we are talking to each other with our daughter present). I also work and give my name out for collections/orders in places like coffee shops.
This is a hard question for me because I go by my middle name. If we are going off that then others call me Alis when speaking to me or asking for me. The only time I am called mom is when directly talking to the kids. For example if my mother in law has my toddler and we are trying to get her to do something or if she wants something then they say "can you go ask mommy if you can". Other then that I make sure I keep my Identity as a person and not just a mom. It is normal for moms to lose their identity after having kids.
Plenty of other adults say my first name, but tbh I melt when my husband says it…It’s so rare. I know I could ask him to use it, but I feel like I’d miss “sweetheart” 😆 It’s a lose lose
we called each other by names every time .. and we love it. we use pet names in between and more over texts and calls and while having romance lol
Everyday due to work. If my fiancé called me by my name instead of the names we call each other I'd be like what's wrong? Lol
The other parents at playgroup this morning, so about 4 hours ago.
I’m Mommy and Honey in my house. We live on the opposite side of the country from all of our family and friends. We haven’t visited them since January so it’s really been almost a year since I’ve actually heard someone call me by my name
Me and my partner don't use pet names but since it's 4:25am, yesterday.
