Induction help!
Hi all,
I’m currently on a ward waiting to be called down to have my waters broken to start induction due to lots of medical stuff going on. Is it as bad as I have jn my head?? I’m terrified!! Also not sure if this will even bring in labour!

I was induced with my little boy and was no where near as bad as i’d created in my head, you’ll be fine, as hard as it is try not to stress and overthink everything, just take it all as it comes! good luck!
Thank you! I had spontaneous labour with my first so he did it all himself but this time my risk factors are too high so it’s all very unknown and scary

@Laura just had waters broke and now waiting for contractions To hopefully start! It wasn’t half as bad as I built up in my head. But the midwife did have tiny little hands 😂
Hey , having waters broken in itself isn’t bad and from memory was relatively pain free. I had an epidural after I had my waters broke as I was also being hooked up to the hormone drip just incase I needed that too to progress things. Thankfully I didn’t need the drip and as I had a epidural can’t comment too much on the pain of labour , but just remember alot of women do it unmedicated and go on to have more bubbas 🥰🥰 Hope it all goes okay , and don’t stress you’ve got this
