Call in sick after maternity leave
I just got back from maternity leave on monday but I wasn’t feeling well today (wednesday) and got a high fever last night. I call in sick to my manager but my manager did not respond to my notice.
Should I be worried about this?

You’ve done your due diligence and sent a message. I know I’ve been in your shoes, but my work gave my a hard time coming back and taking sick time… You should rest and feel better, you’re in no shape/mindset to work. If you still feel uneasy when you return, I would just chat with your supervisor/boss and just clear the air. I hate to let it linger and fester. Hope you feel better.
