I went back to school last semester and it was a little hard but not back. BUT I decided to pursue a nursing degree and I imagine my life is about to get a lot harder so I will let you know!
I’m graduating in 3 weeks from my LPN to RN bridge program. I have 2 small children. I work full time as a LPN in home health. It’s been the hardest 15 months of my life but I did it.
Tough! But if you have a strong support system its possible. I was breastfeeding as well: Barely getting any sleep but I'm proof that it is possible.
I wanna go back to school too. After my last baby is born. I wanna go into the medical field. It’s definitely scary thinking about juggling school/work & children🥺
@Chloe yes I’m not ready for the burn out but I don’t want to be stuck where I am now
@Fedele ohh you’re a strong mama and that’s true… we have to sacrifice some where for greater things
Me either ! I refuse to stay where I’m at now. I want 1000x better for my kids and myself
@Lauren congratulations 🎊 your hard work definitely paid off
@Danielle please keep me updated if you can and I wish you well on your new beginnings
@Amaya okay I will look into programs near me. I have my cna license in another state but I didn’t have a chance to work in the field because my pregnancy was a challenge. I’m not sure if I can transfer where I live now. I just want to get my foot in the door you know?
@Chloe I completely understand
It's hard. I have a 2.5yr old that I take care of myself & am 37 weeks pregnant on top of being extremely physically disabled. My whole house has been a construction zone for half a year, and my dogs won't stop acting up, and destroying my house. My girl had an unexpected litter of 11 puppies, we just got rid of. Some days, I feel like I just can't cut it. But I keep pushing through anyway. I will get my degree after the 2025 Spring Semester, though. So, hopefully, I can get a good job supporting my family.
@Annie aww mama I’m sorry but very glad you didn’t give up…. Congratulations in advance 🎊… you all give me so much hope and motivation
Thank you!! I believe you can definitely do it if you put your mind to it and don't give up! But it will be very stressful at times!

@Annie you’re welcome… you earned that degree and you’re right hard times don’t last forever
I’m in a medical assisting program full time, I also work 4 days a week, and I can say it’s definitely hard but so worth it! If you want to tap into the medical field but not deal with the insane load of assignments and work I do recommend medical assisting. It’s still hard work but a lot easier than nursing school
