What did you guys offer first open cup vs sippy/straw?
How are your babies drinking??did you start off with open cups, or did you transition into sippys/or straws?
I want to start my 12 month old on open cups. I went from bottle to straw, then sippy. Now he drinks from a heavier thermos (calpak type), but ive noticed he doesnt really tilt his head back good to sip.

We introduced straw cup at 6 months and he has been using it for water no problem since. We have slowly started using an open cup as he approaches a year old but not in a rush since he does great with straws. He never used bottles so just straw cup and BF.
Sippy
Straw cups. Honey Bear Straw cups are a lifesaver!
Open cup. Absolutely spontaneously and without extra thought. It is messy, though. He does not know how to use a straw or a sippy. lol
We started using open mouth cups during bath time. I would take a pitcher full of clean water to pour in the cup and let her practice drinking it. That way she could spill and it wouldn’t matter. Didn’t take long for her to figure it out
