Hi, I’m awaiting my date for induction which will be at Sunderland hospital.
Has anyone had an induction where they’ve been allowed to go home? Or do you have to stay in from being induced

I got induced in Sunderland royal on the 8th November and my little girl was born 11:51pm 8th November!!
I was induced via balloon so I went in on the Thursday to have it fitted (uncomfortable but not excruciating) then I was allowed home until the following morning. They say balloon induction doesn't start labour just starts your cervix to dilate but my contractions started an hour after having it fitted!
Rang labour ward 7am the following day and they told me they were ready for me to come straight down and waters were broke by 8:30am I loved my induction I know some people have bad experiences but mine was positive throughout.
