Child Support Help

Hi moms! I am hitting a pretty rocky situation with my baby’s father in terms of child support. I live in CA with my 3 year old daughter. Her dad lives in Hawaii and I have had full custody (not legally) for a year and a half. He has only paid half of daycare and refuses to help out beyond this. We are unable to come to a consensus and I was curious what to do next. Do I file for child support through the state? Should I hire a lawyer? Any advice is helpful! Thank you!!

Yes to both of ur questions, take his ass to court 🥰

Hi mama, no advice here but if you are down for play dates im in San Leandro:)

Do both. Take his ass to court. The only person benefitting from you being nice is him, meanwhile your daughter is unsupported

Yes, Consult with a lawyer. It’s probably best to file for both custody and support.

If you can afford a lawyer definitely go that route they can help you with child support and full custody in one go round. But you gotta make sure you're able to serve him first, because without him getting served they can't start the cases & with him being in Hawaii that'll probably be hard.
