Dry patches on face remedies?

I was wondering if anyone had any tips to help with these dry patches on my little boys cheeks? (Please ignore the snotty nose he’s just woke up and I’m just giving him a few mins before I wipe it as it makes him cry 😫 where the skin is so sore). He usually always has baby soft very clear perfect skin but has been struck down with a bad flu this past week and his cheeks have these really dry patches. The doctor said it’s just teething but he’s been teething since 6m and has 11 teeth already and more emerging and has never had these patches before so I’m putting it down to the cold he has and wiping the snot on his cheeks (bless him) Any ideas what’s best to put on them to try help?
