Boys' Long Hairstyles?

Hi! Anyone have a son with long[er] hair and have any ideas for pulling the front out of their eyes while it's growing out? My son has gorgeous curly hair but the top/front is pin straight and falls right into his eyes. We don't want to cut it until he's old enough to say he wants it cut. I've tried just pulling it back with a tie but my husband says it looks too girly 🤭
