Struggling with cold and cough

Hey Mama’s I have a 18 month old boy who caught the bug pretty hard - his fever went up to 104 F. Now it’s his 3rd day and the fever seems to be in control although it can go up to 101 or 102 in the night - it’s not that bad. But the COUGH! It’s awful to see him like that. His eyes a red and watery and poor guy just gets super frustrated when he coughs. He is on Tylenol - every 3 hours and we do a nasal saline spray. He seems to drink and eat okay. Did have a runny bowel movement but today it seemed kinda okay. Looking for some tips on how to get this boy recovered! He also does walk around and play with his toys.

Hey! We’re going through it too. We do mommy bliss mucus and cough Keep up the fever reducer I also do red onion in his sock over night and 10min epsom salt bath with him. We have a humidifier too in his room Try and get him to a chiropractor if you can!!

I’d consider removing/reducing the Tylenol or at least alternating with Motrin, as Tylenol reduces glutathione which can help the babe recover. We just went through this and boy did that cough linger…. but we found that hanging in a steamy bathroom after sleep where he was horizontal for a while helped and also a humidifier overnight! The saline spray also definitely helped us! Some pedialyte ice pops are good for extra fluids and electrolytes and we cut any extra sugar, dairy, and inflammatory foods to help with the inflammation from all the hacking. Good luck, momma 🫶🏼

I second mommy bliss mucus and cough!

Adult sized humidifier in his room!
